10:31 그러므로 여러분이 먹든지 마시든지, 무엇을 하든지 모든것을 하나님의 영광을 위하여 하십시오. 

32 여러분은 유대인에게나 헬라인에게나 하나님의 교회에게 걸림돌이 되지 말고,

33 오직 나처럼 모든일에서 모든 사람을 기쁘게 하십시오. 내가 자신의 유익을 구하지 않고 많은 사람의 유익을 구하는 것은 그들이 구원받도록 하려는 것입니다.

신약시대에는 세 범주의 사람들이 있다. (1) 유대인- 하나님께서 선택하신 백성 (2) 헬라인-믿지않는 이방인들 (3) 교회- 그리스도안에 있는 믿는이들의 구성체. 우리는 모든 사람이 구원받을 수 있도록 어떤 사람의 마음을 상하게 하거나 다른 사람들에게 걸림돌이 되어서는 안된다.
