지방교회 찬송가 - Begone, unbelief

Begone, unbelief, My Savior is near,

And for my relief Will surely appear;

By prayer let me wrestle, And He will perform;

With Christ in the vessel, I smile at the storm.

Though dark be my way, Since He is my Guide,

’Tis mine to obey,’Tis His to provide;

Though cisterns be broken, And creatures all fail,

The word He hath spoken Shall surely prevail.

His love, in time past, Forbids me to think

He’ll leave me at last In trouble to sink:

Each sweet Ebenezer I have in review

Confirms His good pleasure To help me quite through.

Why should I complain Of want or distress,

Temptation or pain? He told me no less;

The heirs of salvation, I know from His Word,

Through much tribulation Must follow their Lord.

How bitter that cup No heart can conceive,

Which He drank quite up, That sinners might live!

His way was much rougher And darker than mine;

Did Christ, my Lord, suffer,And shall I repine?

Since all that I meet Shall work for my good,

The bitter is sweet, The medicine, food;

Though painful at present, ’Twill cease before long,

And then, oh, how pleasant The conqueror’s song!

고후5:17 그러므로 누구든지 그리스도 안에 있으면 새 창조물입니다. 옛것들은 지나갔습니다. 보십시오, 새것이 되었습니다.

사도들은 어떤 사람이든지 더 이상 육체대로 알지 않았습니다.

자신을 위하여 눈물을 흘려도 부족한데 어찌 하나님을 찬송할 수 있겠느냐고 느낄 때가 있습니다. 

손실과 고통과 어려움으로 찬양하질 못하는 그 날, 찬양해야 한다는 느낌이 없을 뿐 아니라 찬양할 뜻도 없게 됩니다.
