Let that love in pow’r prevailing,

For life’s burdens they are easy,

(살전1:5~6) 왜냐하면 우리의 복음이 단지 말로만이 아니라, 능력과 성령과 큰 확신으로 여러분에게 이르렀기 때문입니다. 우리가 여러분을 위하여 여러분 가운데서 어떠한 사람들이었는지는 여러분이 알 것입니다. 또한 여러분은 많은 환난 가운데서도 성령께서 주시는 기쁨으로 말씀을 받아들여, 우리와 주님을 본받는 사람들이 되었습니다. (8) 주님의 말씀이 여러분에게서 마케도니아와 아가야로 울려 퍼져나갔을 뿐 아니라, 하나님을 향한 여러분의 믿음도 각처에 퍼져나갔습니다. 그러므로 이것에 대하여는 우리가 더 말할 필요가 없습니다.
