O for a thousand tongues to sing
  My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
  The triumphs of His grace.

My gracious Master and my God,
  Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad,
  The honors of Thy name.

Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
  That bids our sorrows cease;
’Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
  ’Tis life, and health, and peace.

His love my heart has captive made,
  His captive would I be,
For He was bound, and scourged and died,
  My captive soul to free.

He breaks the power of canceled sin,
  He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean;
  His blood availed for me.

So now Thy blessed Name I love,
  Thy will would e’er be mine.
Had I a thousand hearts to give,
  My Lord, they all were Thine!

성경말씀
(행13:33~34) 하나님께서 예수님을 다시 살리심으로 그들의 자녀인 우리에게 이 약속을 온전히 이루어 주셨습니다. 이것은 시편 제이 편에 기록된 것과도 같습니다. '너는 내 아들이다. 내가 오늘 너를 낳았다.' 그리고 하나님께서 그분을 죽은 사람들 가운데서 살리심으로 더 이상 썩어질 것으로 돌아가지 않으시게 하신 것에 관하여 이렇게 말씀하셨습니다. '내가 다윗의 거룩한 것들, 신실한 것들을 너희에게 주겠다.'
