Thy mighty love, O God, constraineth me,

As some strong tide it presseth on its way,

Seeking a channel in my self-bound soul,

Yearning to sweep all barriers away.

Shall I not yield to that constraining power?

Shall I not say, O tide of love, flow in?

My God, Thy gentleness hath conquered me,

Life cannot be as it hath hither been.

1- 주는 모퉁이 머릿돌 유대 건축자들 버려

하나님은 귀히 보사 다시 살려 세웠네

우리들은 주로 인해 구원받고 건축돼-

유대인과 이방인이 한 새 사람 되었네

2- 주는 또 신령한 반석 목마른 자 마시게 해

모든 사람 의탁케 해 성전 건축 이루네

주는 시온의 기초석 시험 거쳐 확고해-

교회 의지하는 반석 유일한 기초일세

3- 주님의 건축된 교회 음부 권세가 못 이겨

비바람이 몰아쳐도 더욱 굳게 서겠네

악령 사탄 쫓아내고 천국 가져오도록-

Now here we are, called on to build.

As members of Christ, we are richly filled.

Till from glory to glory we are brought.

Laid hold by vision of His house,

We build earnestly, from indiff’rence roused.

That the glory longed for may soon return!

Oh, what glorious vision!

God’s will and intention—

The return of glory

복음의 진보 위하여 우린 주 말씀 전파해

복음의 변명 확정 위하여 은혜에 참예하니

시작한 그가 다 이루시리 주 뵙는 날까지

어떠한 일들 당할지라도 복음으로 향해

복음을 위해 묶인 자 됨을 모두가 알도록

하나님 말씀 겁없이 말해 담대히 전파하리

사랑과 능력 안에서 전해 마지막 날까지

나의 몸 통해 그리스도만 나타나기 원해

살든- 죽든 어떤 일에나 온전히 담대해

내게 사는 것 그리스도니 부끄러울 것 없어

그는 우리의 생명 또 인격 우리의 모든 것

우리 온 생활 복음에 더욱 합당케 되도록

복음의 신앙 위해 협력해 한 영 안에 서서
