Oh how sweet it is just to know my Christ!
Knowing Him’s the goal of my whole life.
Gaining Him supplies me day by day,
He’s rich and excellent in every way!
I’m fully captured by Him, my All in all!
He fills my heart with faith whene’er I call.
He is spreading, growing organically
As I’m dwelling one with Him continually.

As His life flows in, streams of love abound!
Love constraining us from all around.
So we give ourselves, Lord — Flow in us!
May we know You in Your preciousness.
O Lord, You’ve made us one! Now we run to You,
Pursuing corporately in all we do
With the saints until full maturity
As Your loving counterpart eternally.

Is it raining, little flower?
  Oh, be glad of rain!
Too much sun would wither thee;
  Soon ’twill shine again.

Fallen, that’s the way we all begin:
Imprisoned by the evil fate we’re in.
How can we from this hard world of sin
be saved?

Every moment, each day!
Calling on the name of Jesus—
We’re finding is the way.

Even though we love the Lord so much,
Somehow, it seems we get out of touch
With Jesus. How can we be freed from such
distress?

Sometimes we know we aren’t being real
Then times, we just live by how we feel.
Is there some way we could ever deal
with self?

Christians, scattered throughout all the earth
Are wand’ring—Lord, where is Your Bride of worth?
How can all those of the second birth
be one?

In Genesis we see, God’s desire being
For man to eat the tree of life.
After Adam was created, the first thing that God wanted
Was for him to eat but to eat what?

Eat God, eat the Lord, eat Him in the Holy Word.
He’s the Lamb who reduced Himself, and the tree of life.
Leave your concepts behind and God’s concept you will find:
All He wants is for you to eat Him.

In Exodus we see, God’s desire being
For man to eat the Lamb.
As a creature so small, He’s approachable to all;
This Lamb is God Himself.

We have found the Christ who’s all in all;
  He is everything to us;
O how blest upon His name to call,
  How divine, how glorious!

  It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
  Full of glory, full of glory;
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
    And the half has never yet been told!

We have found that Christ the Spirit is
  Who within our spirit dwells;
How available, how near He is,
  And His sweetness all excels.

We have found the way to live by Christ—
  Pray His Word and call His name!
This—the eating, drinking—has sufficed
  And its worth we now proclaim.

We have found the local church, our home;
  We are home and home indeed!
Nevermore in Babylon we roam;
  In the church is all we need.

We have found that meeting with the saints
  Is the greatest joy on earth;
’Tis by this our spirit never faints
  And our lives are filled with worth.

Lord, You are my only goal!
You’re my only hope!
I only care for You!
I never could replace You,
And I would never want to.
I have everything, Lord—
I have You!

Lord, I only live for You—
Not anything else!
In everything You’re my source;
No more good intentions,

In relationships, You must be the first;
Have preeminence in me.

How can I say how much I love You?
What words express the way I feel?
How can I say how much I need You?
The words I use at times don’t seem so real!
But I’m just going to say them any way!
I love You Lord, with each new living day.
The words I use are just the words You planted deep in me.
I love You Lord with Your own love in me.
Again I’ll say, Jesus, I love You,
In spirit, Lord, and with my soul,
And as I speak I am so happy
That by Your life in me this love I know!
