성경말씀

(고전2:2) 왜냐하면 내가 여러분 가운데서 예수 그리스도와, 그분께서 십자가에 못 박히신 것 외에는 아무것도 알지 않기로 작정하였기 때문입니다.

4:6 행위와 상관없이 하나님께서 의롭다로 여기시는 사람의 복에 관하여 다윗도 이렇게 말하고 있습니다.

7 ``불법들이 용서받고 죄들이 가리어진 사람들은 복이 있다.

8 주님께서 결단코 죄 있는 자로 여기지 않으실 사람은 복이 있다.``

9 그러면 이 복을 할례자에게만 주는 것입니까? 아니면 무할례자에게도 주는 것입니까? 왜냐하면 우리가 ``아브라함의 믿음이 의로 여겨졌다.`` 라고 말하기 때문입니다.

10 그러면 어떻게 그렇게 여겨졌습니까? 그가 할례를 받은 후입니까? 할례 받기 전입니까? 할례 받은 후가 아니라, 할례 받기 전입니다.

11 그런데 그가 할례의 표를 받은것은 할례받기 전에 가졌던 믿음의 의에 도장을 찍은 것입니다 이것은 그를 할례 받지않고 믿는 모든 사람의 조상이 되게 하여 그들도 의롭게 될수 있도록 하려는 것이며,

12 또한 할례를 받았을뿐만 아니라 우리 조상 아브라함이 할례 받기전에 가졌던 믿음의 발자취를 따라 행하는 그런 할례자의 조상도 될수 있도록 하려는 것입니다.

여기서는 믿음의 원칙을 준수한 발자취를 따라 행하는 것을 말한다.

Is laid for your faith in His excellent word!

What more can He say than to you He hath said,

To you who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

“Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed,

For I am thy God, and will still give thee aid;

I’ll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand,

Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.”

“When through the deep waters I call thee to go,

The rivers of sorrow shall not overflow;

For I will be with thee, thy troubles to bless,

And sanctify to thee thy deepest distress.”

“When through fiery trials thy pathway shall lie,

My grace, all sufficient, shall be thy supply;

The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design

Thy dross to consume, and thy gold to refine.”

“E’en down to old age all My people shall prove

My sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love;

And then, when grey hairs shall their temples adorn,

Like lambs they shall still in My bosom be borne.”

“The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose,

I will not, I will not desert to his foes;

That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,

I’ll never, no, never, no, never forsake!”
