Lamb of God—our dear Redeeming One is Christ!

For our sins He paid the highest price

To redeem and to recover us

Who were lost and fallen far from God.

As the Lamb, He had no blemish;

He was meek, even submissive.

How can we like Him obedient be

Unto death, that even of the cross?

  I want to follow Him,

Rest from all my wandering,

End all my endeavoring;

Even though I know not where or

How—I know He cares!

I know He’ll never err;

I know He’ll lead me well.

I know His voice; this now my choice—

Follow where the Lamb would lead.

When He came, though many followed in the way,

Few remained who knew Him and His ways.

Lamb of God—He took  the narrow gate;

The constricted way to life He traced;

Sacrificed, though men denied Him;

Gave His life, though men forsook Him.

How can we t’ward Him still hardened be

When to us He gave all selflessly?

Lord we pray, preserve us faithful in the way

All our days, never to fall away.

By Your grace, keep us pursuing You,

Taking up the cross to follow You.

Consecrate we unreservedly,

Absolute for You entirely.

In our hearts, Lord, let the highways be

Unto Zion single-heartedly.

  Now we will follow Him!

To His call we’re answering,

All we are we’re offering.

New Jerusalem we see

Come down from heav’n to earth!

God and man mingled now,

Our oneness we avow

Eternally, O gloriously!

This is where the Lamb would lead!

6:13 음식을 배를 위한 것이고 배는 음식을 위한 것이지만, 하나님은 그 둘 다 없애버리실 것입니다. 몸은 음행을 위해 있는것이 아니라, 주님을 위해있고, 주님은 몸을 위해 계십니다.

14 하나님께서 주님을 다시 살리셨으니, 그분의 능력으로 우리도 다시 살리실 것입니다.

15 여러분의 몸이 그리스도의 지체라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 그렇다면 내가 그리스도의 지체를 가지고 창녀의 지체로 만들겠습니까? 절대로 그럴 수 없습니다.

16 창녀와 합하는 사람은 창녀와 한 몸이라는 것을 알지 못합니까? 왜냐하면 주님께서 ``둘이 한 육체가 될것이다.`` 라고 말씀하셨기 때문입니다.

17 그러나 주님과 합하는 사람은 주님과 한 영입니다.

18 음행을 피하십시오. 사람이 범하는 죄마다 몸 밖에 있으나, 음행하는 사람은 자기 몸에다 죄를 짓는 것입니다.

19 여러분의 몸이 여러분 안에 계신 성령의 성전인 것을 알지 못합니까? 이 성령은 여러분이 하나님께 받은 것이며, 또한 여러분은 여러분 자신의 것이 아닙니다.

20 왜냐하면 하나님께서 값을 치르시고 여러분을 사 오셨기 때문입니다. 그러므로 여러분의 몸으로 하나님을 영광스럽게 하십시오.

성령은 우리 영안에 계시며 우리 영은 우리 몸안에 있다. 따라서 우리 몸은 성령의 성전, 곧 성령의 거처가 된다.
