7:1 내가 여러분들이 적어 보낸 문제들에 관하여 말하겠습니다. 남자는 여자를 접촉하지 않는것이 좋습니다.

2 그러나 음행이 있기때문에 남자마다 자기 아내를 두고, 여자마다 자기 남편을 두도록 하십시오

3 남편은 아내에 대한 의무를 다하고, 아내도 남편에게 그렇게 하십시오.

4 아내는 자기 몸을 주관할 권한이 없고 남편에게 있으며, 이와같이 남편도 자기 몸을 주관할 권한이 없고 아내에게 있습니다.

5 그러므로 서로의 권한을 빼앗지 마십시오. 다만 기도에 전념하기 위해 서로 합의하여 잠시 떨어져 있을수 있지만 다시 합하십시오. 여러분이 자제하지 못해서 사탄의 유혹에 빠지는 일이 없도록 하려는 것입니다.

6 그러나 내가 이것을 여러분에게 허용하는 방식으로 말하는 것이지 명령하는 것은 아닙니다.

7 나는 모든 사람이 나와 같기를 바랍니다. 그러나 사람마다 하나님께 받은 자기의 은사가 있어서, 이 사람은 이러하고 저 사람은 저러합니다.

사도 바울은 주님과 그분의 경륜을 위해 절대적이었기 때문에 모든 사람이 자신과 같기를 원했다. 사도는 모든 사람의 마음이 나누어지지 않고 주님의 권익을 위해 절대적일수 있도록, 결혼하지 않고 자기처럼 그대로 지내기를 바랐다.

Lamb of God—our dear Redeeming One is Christ!

For our sins He paid the highest price

To redeem and to recover us

Who were lost and fallen far from God.

As the Lamb, He had no blemish;

He was meek, even submissive.

How can we like Him obedient be

Unto death, that even of the cross?

  I want to follow Him,

Rest from all my wandering,

End all my endeavoring;

Even though I know not where or

How—I know He cares!

I know He’ll never err;

I know He’ll lead me well.

I know His voice; this now my choice—

Follow where the Lamb would lead.

When He came, though many followed in the way,

Few remained who knew Him and His ways.

Lamb of God—He took  the narrow gate;

The constricted way to life He traced;

Sacrificed, though men denied Him;

Gave His life, though men forsook Him.

How can we t’ward Him still hardened be

When to us He gave all selflessly?

Lord we pray, preserve us faithful in the way

All our days, never to fall away.

By Your grace, keep us pursuing You,

Taking up the cross to follow You.

Consecrate we unreservedly,

Absolute for You entirely.

In our hearts, Lord, let the highways be

Unto Zion single-heartedly.

  Now we will follow Him!

To His call we’re answering,

All we are we’re offering.

New Jerusalem we see

Come down from heav’n to earth!

God and man mingled now,

Our oneness we avow

Eternally, O gloriously!

This is where the Lamb would lead!
